Product Characters：This product is a kind of amorphous white powder with a proportion of: 4.43 and a melting point of 1740 ℃ (90 atmospheric pressure). It will be decomposed in the temperature of 1450 ℃ while losing the carbon dioxide. Barium carbonate doesn’t dissolve in water and alcohol, but dissolves in acid and ammonium chloride solution. It is toxic for taking. While entering into the stomach, it dissolves in acid and becoming soluble barium chloride, which can lead to poisoning. Therefore, it is a kind of poisons.

Manufacturing methods：reduction roast pulverized coal and barite to get barium sulfide solution. Leach and hydrolyze the barium sulfide solution to barium sulfide . Then, with carbon dioxide derived from bluestone, barium sulfide was carbonized into semi-finished product of barium carbonate. Through desulfurizing, filtering, drying and packing, the barium carbonate product is finished.

Main purposes

1、   Products, such as pentasodium phosphate and so on, produced by chemical industry and detergent factory uses barium carbonate for desulfurization.

2、   Electroplating industry uses it for sewage treatment

3、   For glass products, such as X-ray glass, medicine bottles for injection, bulbs, glass bulbs, glass stems and so on, it can make the glass whiter and harder

4、For radioceramic it can improve the whiteness of the ceramic

5、For preparing carburizing agent, it can improve the structure of carbon steel

6、Ceramic industry uses it as a fluxing agent.

7、It can also used as water purifying agent and raticide.

Packing Specification： lined with plastic bags with plastic woven packaging outside. Each bag has a net weight of 25 kilograms or 50 kilograms.

Attention：

①      Barium carbonate belongs to inorganic poison and its IMDG code is 83004. Therefore, it should be stored in a dry storehouse and damaging the packaging and spreading and leaking the product are not allowed

②     Contaminated overalls and products that adhered to porters should be cleaned up after moving the products to prevent entering into mouth by accidents and leading to poisoning.

③     Don’t store it tighter with acid or food products to avoid deterioration and pollution
